According to Spotify, I listened to 30 hours worth of Lil Skies in 2018. I thought his album Life Of A Dark Rose was excellent – he’s one of the better new school hip-hop artists in my opinion. Spotify doesn’t take into account the songs I played through iTunes. If it had, this list would have Metro Boomin off the list and Blackbear in the top three. Skies, Juice WRLD, Blackbear and Post Malone will continue to be on rotation in the new year. Let’s see what Drake has in store for 2019 as well – he’s found his groove for a few years now and continues to be on top of the charts.
