Foster the People- Pumped Up Kicks (Cris Cab Cover)

Wow. It’s not that common that I become interested in an artist that is recommended to me. Usually it takes a while for me to warm up to the musician and I decide for myself whether or not he’s iPod worthy. A friend of mine put on Cris Cab’s music tonight, and I’m already looking for what types of music projects he has released. I don’t know a lot about him, but what I do know is that he’s a Miami native, has a unique Reggae sound, and seems to be growing as an artist with the help of Pharell Williams and Wyclef Jean. Cris is only one year older than me, but his success in the business would make one think he’s been in the game for a long time. Check out his cover for Pumped Up Kicks and comment on his Reggae style. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever heard. Shout out to Jose Velis for the recommendation.
